Chinese New Year is coming!

This is the time most weight-conscious girls DREAD. Because you will have food on the table SCREAMING at you and it'll be so SO hard to ignore! And if you don't eat, your relatives would complain and ask tons of questions. So most of the time you eat, and then you get worried about gaining weight. Well first, read this post if you haven't! Then come back to this post!

Here are some stuff to help you start exercising!

GO SHOPPING!

Yes, SHOPPING!!!!

Back then, so many times, the thought of exercising crossed my mind but the thought of not having something nice to put on made me put that thought aside. One thing you should know, you should NOT give yourself a reason TO NOT EXERCISE because exercising is GOOD! Makes you feel good inside and out. :)

With about $150, you can get a full attire and this will be able to last you a year or 2. I know $150 is no big sum but hey, think about the money you spent on your work attire and party dresses? Stop shopping for those for maybe 3 weeks? You'd be able to save up and buy clothes you actually NEED.

Get a pair of GOOD running shoes. You wouldn't want to get blisters and then stop exercising because of that. Remember, DO NOT GIVE YOURSELF REASONS TO NOT EXERCISE. You can find pretty decent sport shoes at Royal Sporting House. This will cost you $60 (those on SALE) to $300? I got a pair of Nike ones for $100 there during the Great Singapore Sale last year. Lucky you if you go during a sale! :)

Next, your outfit!

Sports bra! I am so unwilling to spend on "branded" sports bras (like Nike, Adidas etc) cus it's so expensive! The average price of a Nike sports bra is about $80?!

However, I HAVE FOUND A PLACE WHICH HAS PRETTY GOOD ONES AND ARE OF REASONABLE PRICING...

For $24.90 only!

And then they have pants for exercising too...

Which is also $24.90 (i think?)!

And lastly, a tank top costs only about $10 at Cotton On! Or you can get it from Bugis Street for $5?

Total Damage: $100 (shoes) + $25 (bra) + $25 (pants) + $10 (tank top) = $160

Well, i wouldn't call it damage....it's more like AN INVESTMENT!!!

Then, find a place to exercise at!

For me, i chose to sign up for a gym membership at True Fitness. I joined a gym last year and have been hitting the gym pretty regularly till now. Because i have to pay a monthly fee with my own hard-earned money, that sorta pushed me to go work out at least 4 times a week so that money wouldn't be wasted.

Plus i like the gym because sometimes, when i'm on the threadmill, i'd be really lazy and want to give up after 10 min but i'd look at the person beside/in front of me who started running before me and if they don't look like they're about to stop anytime soon, i sorta don't want to stop cus i don't want to look "lousy". HAHA. Especially if the person looks like she's in her mid-40s?!

Well i know not every one is willing to spend that kind of money so well, if you aren't, you can choose to jog around your estate! Jog for about 30 min? Then do some work out at home!

If you want to work out at home, i'd suggest you buy dumbbells and an exercise ball!

It's about $20-$30 if i'm not wrong? I read somewhere that Ranking Sports, Bras Basah complex, sells it very cheap! If you're willing to pay a bit more or if Bras Basah is too inconvenient for you, you can go get it from Aibi Fitness (http://www.aibifitness.com/consumer/locate).

Exercising is very fun and it shouldn't be something you DREAD doing.

I do not have a fantastic body but i am slowly gonna work towards it! Most of our New Year Resolutions have "Lose Weight!" or "Tone Up!" right? Those resolutions are usually forgotten after like a month? BUT I AM HERE TO REMIND YOU! THIS IS PRETTY ACHIEVABLE! LET'S DO THIS TOGETHER!

Now that i've started exercising, I NOW NEED TO LEARN TO EAT HEALTHIER! I said EAT HEALTHIER AH....LIKE CUTTING DOWN ON SALT ETC....NOT STOP EATING!

My afternoon was disappointing. I was looking forward to trying the food at one reeeeally popular dim sum restaurant ALL WEEK. Sadly, i forgot to make a reservation and when my boyfriend & I reached the restaurant, the lady didn't even want to attend to us. I thought i could finally come up with a restaurant review post...oh well, sorry girls! Better luck next week!

Last night before I slept, I decided to put on this eye mask I bought from SASA for $12.90.

It's like 2 nude foamy plasters and I didn't expect it to work cus it just felt like a normal plaster with no serum nothing. I decided to put a bit of eye cream (from Khiels) and then stuck that plaster on without expecting much cus it didn't look nor feel effective.

But this morning, I woke up to a surprise - i had less tired eyes, less puffy, an my dark eye circles were more or less GONE. So it did work!!! I am so happy!! So I'm sharing this with y'all! If you have an important event/photoshoot the next day and can only have less than sufficient sleep, try the eye sticker. :)

Good Change

As i grow up, i see a lot of changes in me and well, im proud of most of my changes. Especially this one I'm about to share with y'all.

Ok, so if you don't already know, I LOVE food. And like every girl, I used to refuse to eat much so I won't gain weight. I managed to lose some weight when i didnt eat DUH how can one put on weight without eating right? I was happy! Flat tummy, skinny arms, V-face...etc. But when I start indulging in good food on special occasions, I worry, I worry so much about gaining all that weight back and that constant worrying made me so so unhappy. So it was like a messy situation back then...was I happy...was I sad...

Then I slowly learnt to live by this quote "eat what you like, we only live once" and yes I gained weight and yes that weight gain didn't help me much in the looks department. However, indulging in good food made me contented. Made me happy. So I told myself, don't stop, keep eating since its the one thing I enjoy most.

I did, I ate, I ate so much it scared me a lot. I was told about my weight gain every now and then. It was obvious, I can't hide it. I do photoshoots for my shop every week and it shows. So of course, it affected me quite a bit. I do not like reading/hearing things that isnt pleasing to me. Who does?

However, I told myself to never give eating up, so I started exercising regularly and now, all is greater that ever!!! I am happy enjoying my food and still maintaining my weight! I may not have the best body around, but i am not fat despite indulging in sinful food all the time! I think my boyfriend too loves me the way I am...being a girl who isn't afraid to EAT. Boys like girls like that! :)

Refrain yourself from eating and you lose weight but just how long do you want to deprive yourself from good food?! If you choose to not be lazy and go exercise...like going for a 1hr run about twice a week, you can still maintain your weight AND eat...why not enjoy the best of both worlds!

I am so SO proud of myself for promising myself to exercise and keeping to that promise for a while now. I can do it, you can too! I am an extremely busy woman if you don't already know, I run a online store, am the model for my online store, work in my own retail store, pick the stocks for the store on my own, pack the online shop parcels, go to the post office..etc. I do sooo much work everyday but there is no such thing as "no time" to exercise. It is just ONE hour. You have 24 hours a day. Give up sleeping for an hour, and go run! You have no excuse!

Haha ok I sound angry...and like I'm commanding you girls too...but come on I've heard that "no time" excuse for soooo long! I too, used to give that same excuse but then really it's only 1 hour a day you have to sacrifice.

Hopefully this will change some people and motivate you? :)

Ok it's pretty late, I shall continue with this post another time. I've something in mind to help motivate you girls to start exercising even more! Hehe. Hopefully I'll get down to continue that part of it by the end of the week!!

I hate it when I read blog comments/formsprings of heart broken girls and ppl say things like "you are so pretty...you can find someone better.". I think it's the stupidest comment one can leave. So what...ugly people don't deserve better?

It should be like "that guy's an asshole, you deserve better." that part about the looks shouldn't even be there? And if the girl is pretty and you wanna tell the girl she is pretty cus yknow, when we girls get compliments we feel slightly better about ourselves, just say something like "and btw i think you're pretty".

I just don't like it when people think pretty girls deserve and should get everything. It is quite annoying. Shouldn't it be because the girl's nice and thats why she deserves it? Not just cus she's pretty?

I splurged on a Celine Micro Luggage in Cobalt Blue! An IT bag REALLY changes the whole look of one's outfit! It's kinda bad...and sad...to see so much money go into just one thing but not only is it hard to resist, the happiness I feel when I get it is really really unexplainable! So every time I work so damn hard, I look forward to rewarding myself with a bag. Hey...I work hard for my money and if bags make me happy, I guess I deserve it? Hehe. Although I know I should stop now! And start saving for the future...like getting my own car, or house! My bf can't stop nagging! Hmm...maybe it's a sign he wants to marry me in future.............*dream*

So anyway, here's a secret...

Every time ive raised enough to treat myself to a new baby, I camp at www.deluxemall.com! (I'm not paid to do this advertisement for them!). It's a bag forum for bag enthusiasts in Singapore! I'd camp for about 1-2 months until someone posts a bag I like (my favourite thread's Balenciaga, Celine and Hermes-just for fun...don't think I'll ever get a Birkin...maybe not till I'm 30?). So far, pretty safe! Most sellers are genuine there. Still, you have to be smart when buying from forums!!

Know what to look out for in a designer bag (tags, zipper, material...etc). You can find more info on Purseforum! Go to the bags authentication section of whichever brand and study! So when you meet with the seller to check the bag, you'd know what to look out for. You should also go to local boutiques to see and feel the pieces there. Then you'd know how the real deal feels like. And be wise!! Designer goods come at a price! If a price is really too good to be true, like if it's retailing at $3k and someone is selling at $1k, it's probably fake...or well, you're just lucky (but that is probably only 5% of the time).

Anyhow, those richy rich girls reading this who can easily afford bags off the shelves at boutiques, maybe this year you might wanna consider saving a few hundred dollars by shopping at Deluxemall! :)

Fuck! Why do I always have to face problems with my staff?! The girl I employed aft Teressa, she has a problem with turning up for work. On several occasions, she called in sick on the day itself and didn't turn up for work so those days, I either had to stop doing what I was doing and rush down to open the shop or not open at all cus I was too busy. Seriousfuckingly unreliable max?!

I really don't understand why why why I have to employ the wrong ppl! I really am more stern to this girl some more? Like I told myself to only have a boss-employee relationship and not like treat her too nicely like a friend...but still?! URGH!!! Frustrating to meet with such people.

Today she didn't tell me she wasn't going to work till 3 and oh boy...I had enough! Shop's supposed to open at 1 and you tell me so damn late?! Some customers waited for hours since 1pm! Help The Needy!

My mother just shared with me a really really sad story about a friend of hers.

Her friend has 3 kids and last year, her friend's husband left her for another woman. He is an extremely abusive guy and has left her with a broken jaw! Fuck man....i hate guys who beat girls!!!!! HATE.

So anyway, her husband left her and the kids with NOTHING. So she has to work super hard to support all 3 kids and her husband's dad. YEAH WTF RIGHT? Leave all the children and his own dad to the wife to look after! However a week ago, the landlord of her previous home sold away his place and all 4 of them are homeless now. They managed to get CDC to help them but there's only so much they can do.

Now they have a 1 room flat to live in but they don't have any furniture at all. The kids have to sleep on the floor! :( Since it's gonna be a new year and many families like disposing off old furnitures, i'm wondering if ya'll are willing to donate your furniture to this lady and her family? Anything also can! They just need furniture for their home!

You can contact my mom at 92368350 if you're keen. Let her know what you want to donate k? I think my mom will arrange for a guy to pick up the stuff from your place or something, not too sure also.

I was drunk. And despite the fact I was drunk because I was upset with my bf, when I started puking and felt helpless, I wanted to see him. It's so hard to stay angry at him. It's just so hard. I keep telling myself not to give in. I must stand strong on what I believe in - that once trust is gone, the relationship will just spiral down.

At the same time, I also am a person who believes in 2nd chances. So I had to choose...

Well, comparing my scenario to many scenarios I heard of, mine is really very minor. Cus I'm extremely sensitive and see a lot of things as "cheating", not necessarily just sleeping around.

You people reading this space might not see it but I have very low confidence in myself. I know on my blog I seem like I'm extremely confident and all but nah, I'm really not that confident. I dont know why but there are people who meet me and tell me "i read your blog and i thought you would be very proud and snobbish".....lol? Really meh? Anyhow, behind it all, i am the typical super insecure girlfriend - REALLY annoyingly insecure with everything, top to toe (not big enough boobs, too fat legs, eyes not wide enough, nose not sharp enough, hair not soft enough..etc), and also inside me (not smart enough as i only hold an Olevel cert, not rich enough, no patience, mood swings are super extreme, behave like a kid and a princess...etc). I can easily list 50 things I'm not happy about myself!!!

I'm constantly comparing myself with other people and feel like my bf deserves someone better and that is prolly why I was so affected when another girl i feel was better looking and suited him more came into the picture for that one night.

However, i saw the other part of him when I said we should go our seperate ways. I saw how sorry he was. I saw him in tears. I felt his pain. He couldve let me go, i really am not the best girl around (just scroll up to see my imperfections? Lol)...but no he didnt and theres a reason why and that is same reason why i am giving this another shot.

I am definitely not his best gf. In fact, I think I'm the worst gf he has ever had! Really. He has told me how he his past relationships were like and man, his ex girlfriends are reaIly very nice! Nothing like the way I behave and treat him. Nothing! And I don't understand why he can break up with them but tolerate me? Why does he even want to salvage this? Definitely not how i treat him, his exes treat him 10x better. Looks? No, I'm not even that pretty. It's just make up, and in fact his exes are prettier. Fame? Uh no, he doesn't even like it when I post pictures of him on my blog. Money? Definitely not, I'm not even rich. Then whaaaaaaat?!

Well maybe it's Love then. Love makes us crazy. Makes us blind. You dont need 101 reasons to love someone, you just....love? It makes us see things in people no one else can. It's got to be love why he's still fighting for me, right?

You'd say, then if he love you, why he do shit to you? Well that day I was talking to a guy friend and he said "if you eat prawn mee everyday for years, then suddenly give you one mee pok, you would want to try a bit right?"and that makes sense right? That prawn mee has to be yummy enough to be able to satisfy the guy for years and for him to be able to resist the mee pok right? If it sucks for years and when one day, he gets the opportunity to try something new, why wouldn't he? I know of many guys with that kinda mentality! It's fucked up! Guys are not like girls. We are wired differently and we girls need to remember that. I'm not saying every guy and every girl has the same mentality but MOST.

I know, I'm not the best tasting prawn mee around, and I will now learn to be, so that'll give him no reason to want to try something new. If he does, at least i know im not to be blamed? Cus ive already done the best i could and it will be his loss. I'm sure wan ton mee, laksa, mee hoon kuey are going to come by...but he wouldn't wanna try those if I'm already satisfying him and enough. Right?

Most guys are gonna want to try something different one day if what they have isnt making them satisfied and making them happy. That prolly explains why there are many brothels around and they're surviving? Either we find out, or never do. Its scary right? But scared also like that...what to do? Isn't life all about taking risks? Everyday we are all taking risks! Say eg when want to get from point a to point b. You drive, you are putting your life at risk! You have a chance of getting into an accident and losing your life. You may be the most careful driver around, but that doesn't mean there are no risks, a big careless drunk lorry driver can still crush your car. But you still drive. Cus you have to get to point B. In love, it is kinda the same. You have to risk your heart from getting broken or you will never know how beautiful love is. It is the most wonderful feeling ever. Dont risk breaking your heart then you will never ever get that "love and be loved" happiness.

We are human, we all make mistakes right? I've never been so attached to someone. I've never had someone treat me so well before. Yes, he was always so perfect in my eyes - All a girl wants in a guy.

This one mistake he made shouldnt just erase all the good he has done for me. Of course it will leave a scar, In fact, im not entirely over the whole issue yet...but it'll take time? It'll take time for me to trust him again. And time for him to prove himself and do things to earn the trust i lost in him.

2012 is coming...a new year, new resolutions. I will work towards a better me!

This coming 2012, I will work on being less demanding. Need to stop expecting too much when i myself am unable to give that much. I also need to learn to be proud of what I'm doing and quit comparing myself to the girls around him. Yknow, education is important, it's sad I can't afford it that's why I gave it up. I really am not proud to just be an O level cert holder. Everyone around me has at least a diploma! :( or maybe in 2012, I'll pick up a part-time course since I kinda can fund myself for studies now? So I need not feel stupid around people.

No one is perfect and there'll always be room for improvement. They say as you grow older, you become wiser and a better person. It's true only if you choose to acknowledge your imperfections and work on it. And I do hope those of you reading this will do your self-reflection and find something about yourself to improve on in the coming 2012.

I can tell you I’m fine. I can tell everyone I’m fine.

But inside, i feel nothing but emptiness. I always base my happiness on one person and when that one person is gone, I lose the ability to feel happy.

I’ve been thru this before. Told myself “the next time I won’t”. But I can’t. It’s just me. I never learn. When I love, I become stupid. I become delusional. I picture a future with the person and think nothing will go wrong. I forget the word “change” exists.

I have this perfect picture of how I want things to turn out and I believe in it too much. They say fairytales don’t exist but in my mind it does. They say we should not expect cus with expectation comes disappointment. But I don’t believe anyone actually applies that to their lives. We’re human and no one would want to live in misery forever. We'll at least expect happiness to come to us someday right? I mean if we really gave up expecting things to get better, wouldn't we all really turn to suicide and give up on life?

I actually havent written such posts here cus I usually Tumblr my thoughts cus like I said, I wanna only feel this space w happy memories.

But well...just to keep this space alive, I'll share these feelings...

My situation is not half as bad as some and it does give me some hope? Still unsure of the path ill go...It will take time. While I'm at it, I promise to still continue filling this space with good stuff. :) after all, I told myself to hide the bad side of my life and only jot down good memories in this space so in future, I can look back at my archives and smile. On Tuesday, i did my hair at Essensuals Bugis!

It's December already which means CHRISTMAS IS COMING! So time to get your hair and nails done! You wouldn't wanna look like a mess on X'mas/New Year!

I know a lot of bloggers have already blogged about their skincare regime but i'm sure everyone uses different products?

I do go for facial once a month to remove blackheads and whiten my skin etc but that's not enough! Everyday, you've to be disciplined and follow your skincare regime closely for a clean and nice complexion!

Shall share with ya'll some pretty awesome products i've been using on my face! I've tried tons of great products and in this post i'm going to share with ya'll products which are relatively cheap (under $30) and WORKS! Also, it can easily be found at Watsons/Guardian!

Make Up Remover

Removing your make up at the end of the day before you sleep is a MUST. Do not leave a single trace of make up on your face! Most make up removers i've tried are super oily and i hate it! Except this...

Biore Make Up Remover Wipes

It's fantastic!!! But i must say it's pretty expensive so what i suggest is cut it into half to save money! Half is actually enough to remove make up on your entire face if you use both sides!

Cleanser

Eucerin DermatoCLEAN Refreshing Cleansing Gel

(the one on the left)

After cleansing, my face is soft and smooth! I've used cleansers which are way too drying i find my face so tight after washing it?? Ok i'm so bad with words but yeah, if you've using too drying cleansers, you'd know what i mean!

Toner

After cleansing my face and before i apply moisturizer, i'd apply Hadalabo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Lotion all over!

With a cotton pad, i just swipe it all over my face. I can also see how well my make up remover and cleanser works cus if there are still traces of foundation on the cotton pad, it means i didnt cleanse my face thoroughly enough and i'd go cleanse it again! Remember, DO NOT LEAVE A SINGLE TRACE OF MAKE UP TO SLEEP. It will clog your pores and cause a lot of unnecessary problems which can easily be avoided.

Don't know why they call it "lotion"? It's actually more like a "toner". This product helps lock in and retain moisture for younger looking skin!

Moisturizer

Clinelle Intense Skin Moisturizer

It is super moisturising! It is great for people with dry or normal skin.

Moisturizing is a MUST to attain good skin!

Sheet Mask

Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Mask

Sleeping Mask (if i use the sheet mask, i don't have to use this)

Laneige - Water Sleeping Pack (this one can be found at Isetan)

So unlike most masks where you have to peel off/wash off, this one is different! Apply a thin film and sleep with it! I love it cus when i wake up, my skin looks really radiant and it glows!

Pimple Gel (for emergency purposes!)

Neutrogena Rapid Clear Eliminating Spot Gel

Never, EVER, squeeze your pimple. It will end up looking worse! Sadly, this is one bad habit i've yet to kick. :X I enjoy squeezing pimples/blackheads so much....hahaha i sound sick but it's true! AND EVERYTIME I DO IT, I HATE MYSELF SO MUCH!!! So please, DO NOT DO IT!!!! Easier said than done lah....I KNOW.

Apply it on your pimple before you sleep, when you wake up, the size of your pimple will definitely reduce by at least 50%! Well at least for me it does!

I hope the above products work for you! If it doesn't, wait for my next skin care post consisting of more expensive products!

This weekend was wonderful for me!

I forgot to bring my camera to the shop so i'll just post the pictures from my phone!

My weekend was spent at Ritz Carlton! My bf decided to me such a sweetheart and booked a room + massage for me! I am truly blessed to have him!

The view from the room! It's super nice! The window's HUGE and the bed is facing sucha pretty view! I WOULD LOVE A ROOM WITH HUGE WINDOWS MAN.

The toilet's really pretty too!

The spread was good! And the oysters are DAMN FRESH. I've never tasted oysters soooo good before! I still think The Line (Shangrila) is better though? Anyone know any buffet place better than The Line? Drop me a comment! :)

Never thought anyone can be SO hated and have such a tainted reputation but well, unfortunately, i have met the "impossible". The amount of people e-mailing me and sending me facebook messages about her is quite insane?! I think i've like at least 10 people who actually got cheated/lied to too. People from her secondary school, her JC, her previous work place....man....why didn't anyone inform me before all this?!

Anyhow, last night was pretty interesting! I wanted to go down to Butter to party but instead, i had to do what i had to do. I couldn't leave this shit hanging any longer. My boyfriend drove me to the police post. We had enough of her bullshit. Told myself to not soften and not back out the way i did on 1 Nov, the day i discovered the shit she did and was already outside the police station. I went in, gave my statement and thought that was it. Didn't seem like the police officer cared cus he didn't bother taking a look at the evidence i brought. Till at 1 am (damn, they're hardworking), i received a phone call asking for deeper details and went down to the Bedok HQ. Where i handed over all evidences i have. That finally made me feel like something's really going to be done with that girl. Thank god she bought stuff from my online store cus i have her address! It's such a danger to have someone like that around Singapore. Don't know who's her next target, don't know what else she's going to come up with the next time round. I walked out at 2am, feeling a sense of accomplishment! Like a did something good to protect the people in Singapore. HAHAHA. I'm glad it's over, i'm so glad i decided to wash my hands off this and hand it over to the police instead of trying to settle it my way - this 4-5 days proved i can't, it was really hard to resolve issues cus she's a pathological liar, and i believe people too easily.

Anyway, since that's over, time to get back to my normal happy life!

For those who love meat, THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE.

It's about $50+/person and it's a buffet.

A meat buffet. But unlike most buffets where you walk around to pick food, this is quite different!

Mmm free flow of brocolli....my favourite veggie!

Love the salad bar! But don't waste your tummy space cus the "main course" is too good to miss.

Well you do have to walk to the salad bar to pick your salad, and for the "main course", it gets served to you!

So they'd walk around and come to you and you can decide if you want it on your plate or not.

My favourite is the grilled pineapple and turkey ham! I think i tried everything except the snowfish, they didn't serve that to me and i didn't ask. Seriously GOOD MEAT. SUPER filling. A great experience cus it was so so yummy! We skipped lunch for this and i get super grumpy everytime i skip my meals but this was worth it man.

This is a great place for dates!

They're opened for dinner only if i'm not wrong. So next time if you're REALLY hungry and you want to dine at somewhere nice, go to Brazil Churrasco!

FUCK MYSELF FOR ALWAYS FALLING FOR YOUR TRICKS. Always playing the pity card and me always feeling sad for you. I'VE HAD ENOUGH ALREADY. Right after apologizing and admitting to your mistakes, you go to Girl D and talk more shit about me? You really don't feel the least bit sorry do you?!?! You still have to audacity to tell more lies and stories?!?! YOU DA BEST! The BEST liar and actress EVER. And i don't think anyone has heard of a liar worse than you. Or even, a person like you.

So i have decided to heed all your advices, and i've done what i ought to do from Day One. This is it for me, i can only tolerate so much. I cannot handle her lies and games anymore. I've handed it over to them. :)

She's forever showering me with praises and of course, i loved it lah....but now i think about it, i just wanna roll my eyes. She's fucking cunning but i must say she's pretty smart. Everyone i talked to was surprised at the tactic she used. Really one of a kind! Wish i could describe in detail her but i don't think it's a good idea cus later all those xiao mei-meis reading this space would get infuenced and use that tactic to cheat their bosses if they work in the retail store.

Then i found out she told my other staff this "I took the whole blame because they won't believe me", acting all innocent to my other staff, which she claims is her friend, WHOM SHE FRAMED TOO. When we caught her, my boyfriend and i, she was like "Why is M not involved?". Lol. Fucker much.

She still wanted to act innocent to my other staff and said "Tams even said i scammed people last time", cus i tweeted something about her. Hmm.....you didn't? Then explain the following...

Proof #2 She's also a Cheater
And i'm sure there are a lot more stuff about her!

I also didn't suspect anything when she told me she doesn't have friends. NOW I KNOW WHY! I asked around, if anyone knows her and who she mixes with. But all i got was "yeah i know her but idk who still wants to be her friend/ i know she's SUPER disliked since her SAC days". Was told everyone she makes friends with, she'd confirm act pitiful and borrow money from them. She will NEVER return any money borrowed. Then after borrowing the money, she'd go shopping and blog about her loots which she bought using her friend's money. If you don't have money, THEN DON'T SPEND SO FUCKING MUCH?!

I find it so hard to trust people now....Urgh. I'm forever taken advantage of? It just saddens me a lot cus i don't think i've done a lot of bad deeds what? WHY LIKE THATTTTT? :( My next staff is going to be quite poor thing cus i'm going to be extremely anal about everything from now on.

When i looked at the menu, i reeeeally didnt know what to order cus everything sounds so gooood. Unfortunately, i was not feeling so good that day so my appetite wasn't there.

Just had a Caesar on The Run. It's Caesar salad with a poached egg. Bacon + Eggs....best combination!

My bf had the Smoked Royale. Which he loved a lot! I had to try it after he exclaimed and i actually sorta overcame my fear of fish (ever since Tokyo's fish market) and tried it. And indeed, it was good!

Quite a wasted trip for me as i wasn't feeling well that day so i didn't order much. I'm going to go back there reeeal soon. I looked over to the other table and their Sir Benedict looked SO DAMN YUMMY. I heard a lot about the Sir Benedict when i went thru online reviews before i headed to Hatched. I cant wait to go back to try that!

And not to mention their desserts.....sounds yummy!

I'm writing this with so much sadness in me and I have to write to feel better.

Today my phone decided to die so I spent an evening with a dead phone. Got home only to receive The News. Bad news.

I was told my grandpa fell in the bus and is in critical condition. And I started to think about him.....like I never really did before. Yknow....I respect my grandpa a lot. I don't know how old he is but he IS old and hasn't retired. He's a workaholic. He cannot stop working in his factory and he does it everyday. Even the weekends are spent in his factory. Even chinese new year, he'll go back to work. I've never heard anyone at his age worked so hard.

No one understands why. He should be retiring and living the life man? He is so old, he has made tons of money, he has tons of money I'm sure.....even if he doesn't have all that money, he isn't alone, his kids are around to give him allowance. Still, he chose to work. He finds pleasure in working I guess? And I'm sure he has a reason too but chooses to leave it unsaid. By work, I do not mean sitting on a desk and being on a computer. His work is like knocking wood etc? He has enough workers to do that but he still works so hard?

He is so humble. With all that money earned, he should be going on holidays....exploring the world, eating all the good expensive food. But no, he chose to save every cent, like reeeally scrimp? Wakes up at 6am, takes a bus to work, then come back late at night, do the same. His factory is in defu lane and the walk from the bus stop to the factory is soooo not near at all! But no such thing as taking a cab for him. Or buying a car to drive himself to work daily. I don't know why but I feel he's doing all this for his kids. For his kids to be able to enjoy? Idk man....idk. I feel sad, he doesn't wanna go enjoy with the money he has made. He doesn't want to at all! Why???

I do hope he'll be fine. I do hope my uncles and aunties will plan a holiday for him. A good one. Let him enjoy and splurge.....for once in his life. I pray all will go fine....that he will be okay! I don't want him to go just like that:( it's too sudden.....no warning no nothing! :( I hope he stops working so hard and tiring himself. Looking at how old and frail he is just saddens me. Pray God will give him a chance to enjoy life. Tonight I pray....

Man, they must've spent tons of money and effort getting this together. It's really worth a visit! I don't know how many of you reading this have little kids but if you do, bring them to the Singapore Science Centre for the new Dinosaurs Live Exhibition! They'll LOVE it.

I'm now visiting a salon near my workplace at Bugis!

So much more convenient for me! Can go do hair treatments more often!

Ok you can't really tell but my hair is SUPER damaged. I've bleached and dyed way tooooo many times and i REFUSE to cut it short. I'm just so fickle minded la! That explains "ohsofickle". Hehe.

I'd be so depressed if i cut my hair so the only way to keep my long hair is to do tons of treatments in hope it'll improve!

Yesterday i went to Essensuals - Bugis to do this treatment called the "Japanese Spa Treatment".

My friend C did coloring! So nice to have company! Hate sitting all alone in salons man.

I mentioned that my complexion worsened when i came back from Tokyo right?

I'm quite sad i'm not the kinda girl who doesn't need facial to have a good complexion. :( Those girls are just so so lucky they dont have to spend all that money on their faces! I used to not go for facial and just keep trying random products from Watsons but my face never got better. I had the mentality that if those girls dont need facial to achieve that complexion, i don't need too! Sadly, that's not how it works...all of us have different skins.

Never had the complexion i wanted till i visited Beauti Instinct! Been with them for over a year already and will keep going back there because they've saved my skin from getting worser SO many times!

Below you can see how bad it got! A lot of congestion, and super dry at certain areas! Been so reliant on make up before my facial man. So glad i do not have to pile on all that foundation cus my skin condition improved so much.

I asked Aunty R why it got so bad and she said i shouldve consulted her before i went to Tokyo cus you must use the right face products for different weather conditions. I've learnt my lesson and will always ask her what's good to bring over to cold countries from now onwards.

Because i had a lot of Congestion, i did the Deep Cleansing Cyro + Electro Therapy.

Because of all the congestion, Aunty R did a lot of extraction. Gotta love the extraction at Beauti Instinct cus they do it really gently unlike a lot of places. I've introduced Beauti Instinct to a lot of my friends and they agreed that the extraction at Beauti Instinct doesn't hurt as bad as a lot of places they visited previously. Despite all that extraction, i was still able to go out the next day without a lot of red marks cus the Electro Therapy helped my skin heal a lot faster! Redness was gone by the 2nd day. My face felt so smooth and clean after the extraction! Didn't feel so dirty already and make up glided on super nicely. :)

If you don't already know, i love glowy complexions! However, when i have a lot of bumps and i use my highlighters and illuminators, my face just looks oily and dirty instead of dewy and healthy. So whenever i have a lot of problems on my face, i have to mattify my face which i dont like cus i like the glowy sk2 advertisement look! Now, after extraction and clearing up all the bumps, the base is smooth and when you apply the highlighter and illuminators, you can achieve that healthy, dewy look! Plus i use less foundation which is good for my face!

Oh man...ever since i lost ALL my picture in iPhoto last week, i havent had much mood to blog. Or to even touch my laptop cus the thought of an empty iPhoto that used to contain over 12k photos i took 3 years to collect is DEPRESSING. :( Still trying to retrieve it using StellarPhoenix, an app i paid $130 for to retrieve deleted files from the trash bin. No, i didnt remember deleted 12k photos....why would i do that right? But i brought my laptop to Apple and they said they cant find anything in my laptop and that it still has a lot of memory space. So they said i could've done it by accident. Sigh. I regret not backing up my photos. SRSLY. PLEASE PLEASE BACK UP YOUR FILES IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY DONE SO. DO IT NOW!!! Go buy an external hard disk! BACK UP YOUR FILES TODAY!!

My 20th Birthday

On Saturday, i celebrated my birthday at Irodori with my close friends! Super love all of them! They made me such a happy girl that day. THANK YOU ALL! LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCHYYYY~ :D

Irodori is a japanese buffet restaurant! Like ikoi (read my ikoi post here!)! Located opposite ikoi! Some competition there~ Well i personally like Irodori better than ikoi although ikoi seems to be more popular. However, the service at both restaurants are quite bad. Irodori was worst though....the waiters and waitresses didn't seem keen to serve us at all. Or maybe cus we were a big group and quite demanding? Lol. I'll still go back though! I feel the price's pretty worth it. Paid about $40/person?

I have read a lot of scary eye stories caused by fake geo lenses and those yearly GEO lenses too. IMAGINE YOU LOSE YOUR SIGHT?! IT IS NOT REVERSIBLE OK!

Eyesation only sell monthly GEO lenses unlike most blogshops (most blogshops sell yearly lenses). It is best you change your lenses monthly cus it's cleaner. Am feeling so sad right now cus i deleted a lot of pictures we took today. LIKE 90 PICTURES?!:( Thank goodness i didn't delete the "important" ones. Will post the "important" ones tomorrow/Sat!

So anyway, we managed to visit the Tsukiji Fish Market 3 days ago and on Tuesday we went to DisneySea!

Tsukiji Fish Market is extremely depressing :( Watched them chop fishes alive! Haven't eaten fish since then cus i feel so so sad and everytime i think of fish, the scene of him chopping the fish and the blood splattering all over replays in my head.

Restaurants serving the FRESHEST sashimi. Felt like puking while eating though. :(

First thing i did went i reached was to BUY A DUFFY BEAR. I just had to own one cus i saw at least 10 people in the Disney train with it and inside DisneySea, 90% of the people there were holding a Duffy! I had to buy to fit in :x haha.

Y'know....i was not a big fan of Duffy before i went there. Could'nt understand why people LOVE Duffy so much. TILL I WENT TO DISNEYSEA.

I was SO happy there. For once, i managed to forget all about my problems and stopped worrying about random stuff. Yes, i'm forever worried. I'm always so paranoid and am always thinking of the worst of things :( Such a depressed person huh....wish i wasn't like that most of the time. But anyway, yeah I felt like a kid all over again! I felt SO HAPPY i started crying uncontrollably. To the Under The Sea song. -_- I KNOW. LOL. The people around me must've thought i was such a retard, crying at such a happy place. BUT I WAS REALLY THAT HAPPY!!!! I can't remember when i last shed tears of joy man.

This is so random but i have to mention it...

I love Tokyo's toilets cus EVERY toilet i visit has this...

It's so poop friendly! I love the butt washer. I hate it when i poop in toilets in Singapore and have no water to clean up. I always feel so dirty after poo-ing so i really HATE pooing in Singapore's public toilets.

And toilets in Japan i go to are always clean! Everywhere i go, whether atas or not. Love the japanese! I dont know why people say Singapore is the cleanest country. Japan is like WAY cleaner la! Everywhere is litter free one! Some more trash bins are not everywhere, i actually expected people to litter? Many times, i got so tempted to litter cus i couldn't find a trash bin! Of course i didn't la, the floor at most places are so damn clear i would feel so so terrible for littering.

Also, i love the "Flushing Sound" button. Many times in Singapore, when i poop, i get so embarassed when i let out a loud fart or when my poop goes "piak, piak, plong" into the toilet bowl. Lol. In Japan, i can poop and make as much sound as i want cus when i press this "Flushing Sound" thing, it goes off for around 25 seconds and it covers all the "piak, piak, plong"s! Hehe. Annoying thing is everytime i hear that "flushing sound" when i'm waiting for someone to be done outside the cubicle, it always cheat my feelings. I always think the girl inside just flushed and is going to come out in 10 seconds but nope.

But the toilet at this xxx resort place i went to yesterday to celebrate my bf's birthday is the ultimate! I didnt take a picture though. Ok so i opened the cubicle and the seat was down. I hate seeing the toilet seats down cus i have to open it and well, and when you have to open it, half the time the surprise inside isn't very pleasant. However, when i was about to walk towards it to open it, IT OPENED BY ITSELF. HOW EFFING COOL RIGHT?!

Hehe.

Today we explored Harajuku! Where my boyfriend went crazy cus there were a lot of brands he liked there. I too had a lot of fun cus the clothes are SLIGHTLY cheaper. My best buy today's a pair of brown boots from a shop in Harajuku for $130. Doesn't look $130 at all though. :( But it looks really good paired with the H&M cardigan i bought here so yeah.

A lot of thrift shops in Harajuku! Everything is super cheap. Like $20-40? Ok not really cheap-cheap but counted as cheap in Japan la.

Like Shibuya, there's also a 5 storey Forever21 at Harajuku. Where i went CRAZY at. I don't usually go this crazy shopping at Forever21 but in Tokyo, the F21 IS SO BIG and there are a lot more designs her. Feels "dirt cheap" shopping in F21 cus the prices of the local stuff here are quite insane.

This is a dog hotel and beauty salon for doggies! Mainly Poodles! Realised Poodles are the most common breed here in Tokyo?

SO PRECIOUS!!!! Want to bring him home so badly :( but he's SGD$11K. YUP ELEVEN EFFING THOUSAND DOLLARS. :(

The food everywhere is good! So far! It's like we just walk into random restaurants and always walk out very satisfied!

And you have to try the crepes here! Frigging AMAZING. My boyfriend doesn't like such stuff but he thinks the crepes are really good.

We are going to visit a fish market tomorrow! That is, if we manage to wake up at 5AM. I highly doubt so......We'll see! :D

p.s we're actually with another friend and her boyfriend on this trip! super happy cus they helped us with A LOT of stuff. like helping us plan where to go etc. don't know how we're gonna go around Tokyo without them! the people here speak VERY little english.

Hello from Tokyo!

Today we walked around our area at Shinjuku and took a train to Shibuya! In Tokyo, it's best you travel by train cus the cab fares WILL KILL YOU. It's quite difficult to get around though. The train line is so damn complicating. I can't imagine coming to Tokyo without the company of my boyfriend's friend who's a great Tokyo guide. We had to take a train from the airport to the hotel and had to lug our luggages up a few flights of stairs to save $ cus the cab fare from the airport to our hotel would cost us $250! That is damn insane right! Pfft. So yeah, everywhere we go, we'll take the train so we have more money to shop despite the fact i HATE taking the train.

The weather here is perfect! It's not hot and not too cold! So happy i can finally wear my blazers here which i never got to wear in Singapore.

Shopping in Tokyo is really really awesome. I just wish it wasn't so expensive. :( I think the average price of an apparel is like SGD$100? I think la! Or maybe cus i eye on all the expensive stuff that's why. Everytime i see like "the perfect blazer" or "the perfect shoe", it'll cost like $100-300? I thought it'll be cheaper at Shibuya 109 but sadly, not at all! I mean, i thought if it's like "brandless" it'll be cheaper right? But nah, not the case in Tokyo. Apparently the shops in Shibuya 109 are actually counted as "branded"? OH OH OH I LOVE THE SALES GIRLS. They are super nice!!!! AND EVERY SINGLE SALES GIRL LOOK SO PERFECT FROM TOP TO TOE. They put in SO much effort in dolling themselves up. They look like celebrities lor. They do it EVERY single day and i am seriously impressed!!! Ok actually i think 80% of the population put in effort dressing up etc. Everywhere i go. The young and the old. They dress SO WELL here. I keep seeing things i would love to own on other people.

Supposed to do a contact lens post but the seller's site is down so i have to push it to 10 Oct :(

p.s i was looking at the pic of me in an orange romper and got reminded of this thing i read about armpit fats! do you know it's caused by wearing a bra too small and tight? im not sure how true that is though? i read it somewhere online. so if it's true right, i will have to start buying bras a size bigger! that's gooooooood....self-esteem booster! haha.
