Last week i finally tried Revive
Wellness's Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage – which they have won
tons of awards for!
It is totally different from the
massages i've done elsewhere as MLD Massage uses a different
technique and it has different benefits – in fact, much more
benefits compared to a Deep Tissue Massage which focuses mainly on
relaxing your muscles. I do Deep Tissue Massages every 3-4 weeks to
relax my body so i'm quite used to hard and painful massages however,
when the therapist laid her hands on me, i was quite shocked that not
much pressure was used. At the beginning of the session i thought she
didn't dare apply pressure so i told her that i'm very used to
getting massages and then she explained to me that MLD is totally
different.
